Ismaili Sarr is an interesting player and could be on the radar of Leicester as they would probably have no problems regarding the transfer fee and even being able to send a player or two in the opposite direction. Sarr was close to an agreement with Aston Villa but they withdraw from the prospect of signing due to a number of issues and complications in such a deal going through. Sarr is an exceptional talent and at the age of 24 just what Leicester are looking for. To get a new alternative on one of the flanks alongside Vardy and Barnes is of high priority as we did see them lose out on Ademola Lookman earlier with Sarr being a much more ideal signing.

Nicolas Pepe was earlier linked as a contender, but decided on a move to Nice and also Callum Hudson-Odoi is a player who could be perfect as well. We do believe Leicester could join this chase and also be able to attract the player as this move could be ideal for all parties. Sarr joined Watford from Rennes in 2019 and has since added up 96 league games and scored 24 goals. He has also represented Metz earlier in his career.

Sarr represents Senegal and would not be a stranger as his Senegal team mate Nampalys Mendy is still at Leicester and hopefully will also be for the rest of the season. Crystal Palace, AC Milan and Aston Villa were the three teams mention as part of the chase. Aston Villa are no longer interested, Crystal Palace might not raise their bid and AC Milan is at this point the only club said to be interested with a fee of £18million to be enough to land the star, a bargain if you manage to ge that one over the line.

Leicester City are still looking to add a few players to the squad and Nigel de Jong has advised Brendan Roger’s that a move for Sarr this summer would be a sensational one if they can pull it through.
